Hey! I’m Callie Biggerstaff - and yes that is my real last name. I am a proud third gen LA native, based in Chinatown DTLA where I live with my partner and my goofy dog, Donuts.
Whatever the project, I am drawn to document, create and connect. My work delivers an authentic narrative voice paired with a cinematic editorial style. Equipped with a unique versatility to capture natural lifestyle, intimate spaces, guest experiences and creative portraiture alike, I serve images with sincere energy and honest, in-the-moment emotion. I pull inspiration from my surrounding environment, light and shadows, and overall pulse of the people around me. With a background in art production and prop styling I am able to think on my feet when creating editorial environments or collaborating to drum up fresh new imagery for brand or event clients. When documenting live performance, events or intimate family environments, timing is everything and its integral to watch, wait and observe. I never want images to feel forced - and rather allow things to unfold naturally. I aim to capture the big and vibrant moments; the quiet and pensive and everything in between - resulting in bold, striking and timeless imagery.
